Superior Shale Inhibition
The potassium ions (K+) in its molecular structure can rapidly replace sodium ions (Na+) on the shale surface, forming a stable adsorption film to block water invasion. This reduces the core linear expansion rate by over 40% and ensures a shale cuttings recovery rate ≥ 90% after hot rolling, fundamentally preventing wellbore collapse.
Excellent Borehole Stabilization
 It has strong encapsulating ability, which can tightly coat drill cuttings to prevent their dispersion into fine particles. This controls formation mud-making, maintains uniform borehole diameter, and minimizes the risk of stuck pipe caused by cuttings accumulation.
Optimized Rheological Performance
Enhances drilling fluid viscosity and shear-thinning properties, improving cuttings carrying capacity in horizontal sections. Simultaneously, it reduces fluid loss to ≤ 10 mL (30-minute filter loss test) and forms a thin, tough filter cake.
Salt and Temperature Resistance
Maintains stable performance in saturated saltwater mud and high-temperature environments up to 120℃, adapting to complex geological conditions such as deep wells and saline formations.
Cost-Effective Dosage
Depending on the type of drilling fluid, the recommended dosage ranges from 0.1-0.7% (mass fraction). For freshwater drilling fluid, the dosage is 0.05-0.1%, and for saltwater drilling fluid, it is 0.2-0.7%, achieving high efficiency with minimal input.
